What Drives the Hive
Posted in: What's the Buzz

Local. LDS. Lifestyle. This is the tag line, motto, and mantra of the Arizona Beehive Magazine. These three concepts drive the creation and production of our publication.
Local. In our world of mass produced, Made In China, big box-sold, and drone-delivered, people have discovered a craving for authenticity. Nothing screams anti-cookie cutter more than local. Locally produced, consumed, enjoyed. Locally experienced.
Local means shopping and walking, working and playing, living and learning from or in a near-by location. What is near-by you? The Arizona Beehive Magazine finds, photographs and tells the stories of just that. We are and seek out local.
LDS. During the April 2022 General Conference, Sister Reyna I. Aburto exclaimed, “The Church IS the members! We are one family in Christ.”
We, the members, are The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The focus of The Arizona Beehive Magazine will always be on our beliefs, interests, passions, work, art, events and business. Members to meet, places to go, things to do, businesses to patronize.
Lifestyle. What do we style our lives around? Our families and spirituality, our wards and callings. Our neighbors, communities, and attractions. Our city shops, parks and eateries. We love what we do and do what we love. That is the lifestyle of members of the Church.
Local. LDS. Lifestyle. It speaks of authentic community. The Arizona Beehive Magazine focuses on our community, drawing us together via printed paper, digital readability, and social media. If you have not already done so, I invite you to connect with each other on Instagram (@the_arizona_beehive), and Facebook (@BeehiveNews). Become a Patron! And download the ISSUU app so you may read The Arizona Beehive Magazine cover to cover on your tablet or mobile device.
Thank you for reading. Without you, there is no Arizona Beehive Magazine!
